Our inclusive learning community is based on a foundation of Christian values,

where everyone is given the opportunity to develop his or her potential academically,

creatively, socially, spiritually and for the challenges of an ever-changing world.

Wendover Church of England Junior School is a large junior school set in delightful surroundings on the same site as John Hampden Infant School and John Colet Academy. The school provides an excellent environment for learning where standards are high for both achievement and behaviour. Above all it is a special place full of joy, fairness and a shared desire for everyone to achieve their full potential.

We believe we are a successful school with a purposeful atmosphere, a sense of community not only amongst the children but shared between everyone with an interest in the school; parents, staff, the Church and our neighbourhood which includes the nearby RAF Halton airbase.

Our aims and values are underpinned by Christian belief and practice. During their time at our school, pupils thrive amongst an ethos of excellence, enjoyment and citizenship. Every child here is special and is treated as an individual.

I consider it a real privilege to be a member of this school family and be part of the amazing impact that it has on the lives of each child. If you would like to know more, or would like to visit us, please do not hesitate to contact the school.

    • Wendover Swimming Association Survey

      Dear parents,

Your children's Headteacher has very kindly agreed to send this email to you on behalf of the Wendover Swimming Association, which manages public swimming at Wendover Pool.

The Wendover Swimming Association is conducting a survey on behalf of the local community as part of their campaign to save the Wendover Pool from closure. We hope you can spare ten minutes to answer the questions in this survey which will give valuable information to help in making decisions about the future of the swimming pool.

Please click on the link below to answer the survey - it should only take ten minutes of your time, but your answers will be extremely helpful to us.
