These documents set out the expectations for children as they progress through the school.  The curriculum is planned to ensure that there is appropriate progression of knowledge and skills.
Our progression is set out in the first document and the DfE's 'Ready To Progress' criteria are provided for you in the second document. 
The aim of RTP is to:
1.  bring greater coherence to the national curriculum by exposing core concepts in the national curriculum and demonstrating progression from year 1 to year 6
2.  summarise the most important knowledge and understanding within each year group and important connections between these mathematical topics
